About Overpowered Priest

Evanyell Analisa Sunwhisper  is a pleasant level 80 Discipline Priest on the Wyrmrest Accord server. While she is a strange sighting in Stormwind City, as a Quel’dorei who has found herself in a place other than the Silver Covenant or holed up at Quel’Danil Lodge, she is not so strange a sighting when it comes to citizens who need someone to speak to or ask for help. Having fought many a battle against the Horde, the demons of Outland and more recently the Scourge, she is not above getting herself into a scuffle or knowing how to get herself out of one — and is always ready to defend her city against invaders both foreign and domestic.

Who is Evanyell behind the pixels?

She is a quirky photographer with way too much time on her hands. With her two young sons and a life in the middle of a beautiful cornfield that sits atop another cornfield (that was recently demolished by a tornado), she happily sits at her computer and thinks of various things to have fun and enjoys the frolick she has with others on her server and in her life.

What was the idea behind “Overpowered Priest?”

This blog was created to be a space for discussions on lore, ethics, role-play and the many things associated with it. While some things are more opinion-based, I do my best to present facts as they come. This is also a spot for my characters (in their various forms) to present themselves in the open — be it through journal / diary entries or stories. I also discuss some of the finer points of role-play in the World of Warcraft universe. I don’t pretend to be an expert on anything (because strangely enough, even the people who created the lore aren’t even experts.) I will, however, try to present points for refining role-play by critiquing what I see out of character and present good arguments for altering things in-character as well.
